Pho Cali has the best BUN (rice vermicelli bowl) in Salt Lake! #54 bbq chicken bun with an egg roll is perfection! Each time I go, I commit myself to come back more often, as the food is that fresh and good. The dining area is small and can get crowded during the weekday lunch rush, but I’ve always gotten a table.

Amazing 4.9, 2nd best pho in Utah. 1. Broth - 4.9 - this broth is delicious and rich with flavors and spices. It has a bit of a bite and came out a little hot give it a minute tonight cool off. This broth is a little more oily than others. 2. Meat - 5- I love the different flavors and textures of meat in pho including the tripe. I got the 20, the House Special, which has the whole array of meats sliced rare round eye, well done beef, brisket, fatty brisket, tendon, beef tripe, and meatballs. A great pho’s broth is the star. 3. Noodles - 5 - Pho is made with a rice noodle not a wheat noodle. The noodles don’t get soggy. This is important because of the way I eat pho, I spoon the broth till almost all the broth is gone and then eat the noodles and vegetables. 4. Service - 5 - The service is kind and timely. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

I’m a girl from Hue and pho Cali’s bun bo hue tastes like it does in Hue and at mom’s! I am delighted to have such great Vietnamese food while visiting SLC. The bun Bo hue is a deep flavourful broth that is served piping hot, with lots of meat and a generous side of herbs and veggies which is a must for Vietnamese cuisine. The owner is such a lovely woman, and cares deeply for her staff and her business. 10/10 I would return the next time I’m snowboarding in SLC!

Went here a few weeks ago. This place is a gem! Best pho I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried several pho places in the valley). They were offering a pho special with bone marrow so my sister & I both tried it. Our jaws dropped with the size of bone & meat we got with our pho. The broth was richly flavored & the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. Server was very generous & attentive. The special was maybe about $16 for each of us, which is an insane steal.

Me and wife have been trying different pho places. The vibe of the restaurant was cool. The egg rolls were ok not the best I have had at other pho places. The bbq chicken bun sauce was good but not great. My wife loved the pho.

As I get older I realize fast and furious and delicious is my vibe. Good food, friendly and fast staff, and no frills space (which is good because then I know it's all about the food, not the "ambience"). Got the Pho 33 which essentially is everything in a bowl and 10/10 would get again!

It is authentic. The food is delicious. The service is friendly and consistent. It is definitely a hole in the wall strip mall establishment filled with culture and great food. Don't expect a high-end dining experience, but do expect to leave satisfied having tried some excellent food.
